Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) clashed in the Indian Premier League 2026 on Tuesday, April 14. CSK defeated KKR by 32 runs in the match, which took place at Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

After being asked to bat first, CSK lost opener Ruturaj Gaikwad cheaply once again. Sanju Samson (48) and Ayush Mhatre (38) gave a quick start to batting. Later, Dewald Brevis (41) helped the team score crucial runs, and they finished the innings at 192/5.

In the chase, KKR lost both openers in the power play. Losing six wickets before 100 runs on the board, KKR lost the plot in the first 10 overs. Their key batters failed to go big, and KKR eventually ended with 160/7 in 20 overs.
