Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in match 23 of the Indian Premier League 2026 on Wednesday (April 15).

After being asked to bat first, LSG’s batting flopped badly, with none of the batters scoring a fifty. Mitchell Marsh scored the highest knock of 40 runs as LSG were bowled out for just 146 runs. Rasikh Salam picked a fabulous four-wicket haul.

RCB chased down the target like a walk in the park in just 15.1 overs. Virat Kohli scored a brilliant knock of 49 runs, while Rajat Patidar (27) and Jitesh Sharma (23) scored quickfire knocks to ensure an easy victory for RCB.
