IPL 2026 Points Table, Orange Cap & Purple Cap after match 34, RCB vs GT

Punjab Kings remain at the top of the points table after the 34th match of IPL 2026.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) clashed in match 34 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Friday, April 24. The encounter took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

After being asked to bat first, GT came up with a brilliant batting effort. Opener Sai Sudharsan came up with an outstanding century as he scored 100 runs off 58 deliveries, slamming RCB bowlers all over the park. Thanks to his heroics with the bat, GT posted a total of 205/3.

However, Sudharsan’s ton went in vain as RCB chased down the target like a walk in the park. Jacob Bethell, who replaced injured Phil Salt in the playing XI, lost his wicket early as he scored only 14 runs in his first game of the season.

However, Virat Kohli came up with another half-century in the clash, scoring 81 runs off 44 deliveries. Devdutt Padikkal scored a quick-fire half-century, adding 115 runs with Kohli to set the platform for win. In the end, Krunal Pandya (22*) provided an excellent finishing touch as RCB chased down the target by five wickets inside 19 overs.
