RCB lost their third match in IPL 2026.

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru were outplayed by the home team, Gujarat Titans, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After a quick start by Virat Kohli, GT’s pacers bounced back to dismiss the openers.

This triggered a collapse, as Jason Holder, Arshad Khan and Rashid Khan combined to bowl out RCB for just 155. GT’s openers came out swinging, with skipper Shubman Gill smashing Josh Hazlewood for 24 runs in the second over of the powerplay.

Jos Buttler was dropped early by Jitesh Sharma, and the English wicket-keeper made RCB pay, with a 39 off 19. Bhuvneshwar Kumar tried his best to bring RCB back into the contest, single-handedly dismissing the top 3. Despite a mini-collapse, the Gujarat Titans‘ lower-order eventually managed to get the job done.
