IPL 2026 Points Table, Orange Cap & Purple Cap after match 43, RR vs DC

Punjab Kings take the top spot in the points table after the 43rd match of IPL 2026.
Delhi Capitals (DC) are finally back to winning ways in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 as they beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 43rd game of the tournament. The Axar Patel-led side beat the home side by seven wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday.
Opting to bat, RR had a poor start to their innings as both in-form openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi fell in the first two overs. However, Dhruv Jurel (42) and captain Riyan Parag (90) brought their side back in the game.
They soaked up all the pressure with their 102-run partnership for the third wicket. Parag carried on and hit a brilliant half-century, falling ten runs short of his maiden century. He got decent support from Ravindra Jadeja (20) in middle as the Parag-Jadeja duo added 53 runs for the fourth wicket.
However, the real blitz came from Donovon Ferreira (47*). The South African all-rounder smacked bowlers all over the park, batting with a strike rate of over 335. His innings with the bat helped RR post a big total of 225 for six.
DC had a dream start to their chase as Pathum Nissanka (62) and KL Rahul (75) came out all guns blazing. They etched an opening stand of 110 runs inside ten overs to set the platform for the chase with their half-centuries.
After the wicket of Nissanka, Nitish Rana (33) also played a great hand, which kept the momentum in DC’s favour. RR made a slight comeback with two quick wickets of set batters. However, Tristan Stubbs (18*) and Ashutosh Sharma (25*) held their nerves and powered DC to a brilliant seven-wicket win.
