Sunrisers Hyderabad take the top spot in the points table after the 52nd match of IPL 2026.
Gujarat Titans (GT) crushed Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 77 runs in the 52nd match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on May 9. After being asked to bat first, Gujarat piled up a gigantic total of 229/4.
Sai Sudharsan (55) and Shubman Gill (84) gave a blistering start, etching an opening stand of 118 runs. Washington Sundar scored an unbeaten 37 runs, driving the scoreboard to a big total.
RR totally succumbed to the pressure, losing opener Yashasvi Jaiswal cheaply for three runs. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi added 36 runs, while Ravindra Jadeja scored 38 runs.
The rest of the batters struggled to go big. Rashid Khan clinched a fabulous four-wicket haul while Jason Holder picked three wickets as GT bowed out RR for just 152 runs.
