In the evening clash, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) clashed at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Batting first, Mumbai could only manage 166/7, thanks to Tilak Varma’s lone half-century (57). In the chase, RCB lost their top order batters cheaply.
Krunal Pandya (73) hammered a brilliant half-century but lost his wicket at a crucial moment. The match went to the final over, where RCB scored two runs off the final delivery to snatch a crucial victory.
