RCB take the top spot in the points table after the 57th match of IPL 2026.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by six wickets in the Indian Premier League 2026 on Wednesday, May 13.
After being asked to bat first, KKR scored 192/4. After losing both openers cheaply, Angkrish Raghuvanshi (71) scored a spectacular half-century. Rinku Singh added an unbeaten 49 runs to take the scoreboard to a good total. The duo etched a stand of 68 runs for the fifth wicket.
However, it was not enough for victory as RCB chased it down with six wickets in hand. Opener Virat Kohli led the batting, smacking an unbeaten century.
Scoring 105 runs off 60 deliveries, he led RCB to a magnificent victory. Devdutt Padikkal, who scored 39 runs and etched a 92-run stand with Kohli, also made a crucial contribution in the chase.

After the victory against KKR, RCB have become the new table-toppers of IPL 2026 with 16 points. The Gujarat Titans are just behind them with equal points. SRH and Punjab Kings are next in the list.
Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals follow them in the next two positions, while Delhi Capitals take seventh place with 10 points. KKR stay in the eighth spot with nine points.
Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants languish in the last two spots and have been eliminated from the tournament.
