RCB take the top spot in the points table after the 60th match of IPL 2026.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Gujarat Titans (GT) by 29 runs in the 60th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. Batting first, KKR opener Finn Allen (93) came up with a spectacular innings, hitting a quick-fire half-century.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi (82*) and Allen built a crucial stand of 95 runs for the second wicket. Cameron Green (52*) also made a vital contribution with his fifty, taking the scoreboard to mammoth 247/2.

Adding 56 runs in the powerplay, GT got off to a brilliant start. Shubman Gill (85) and Jos Buttler (57) scored fabulous half-centuries but lost their wickets at crucial moments.

Sai Sudharsan, who retired hurt in the powerplay but resumed his batting later, also hit an unbeaten fifty. However, GT batters were helpless against the mammoth total and could only reach 218/4 in 20 overs.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) hold the top two positions in the IPL 2026 points table with 16 points each. SRH are next with 14 points, while Punjab Kings take the fourth position with 13 points.

Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals follow them in the next two positions. KKR now take the seventh spot, while DC have dropped to the eighth position. MI and LSG take the last two positions and have been officially eliminated from the playoffs.
