RCB take the top spot in the points table after the 64th match of IPL 2026.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by seven wickets in the 64th match of the Indian Premier League 2026 on Tuesday, May 19. With the victory, RR have moved one step closer to the playoffs.

After being asked to bat first, LSG piled up a mammoth total of 220/5. Mitchell Marsh (96) and Josh Inglis (60) gave a brilliant start to the batting with their 109-run stand. Marsh and Rishabh Pant (35) added 64 runs, taking the total past 200. RR bowlers completely failed to overpower LSG batters.

In the chase, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi led from the front, smacking 93 off 38 deliveries with 10 sixes. He made a 75-run stand with Yashasvi Jaiswal and a 105-run partnership with Dhruv Jurel (53*), which set the platform for RR’s easy victory. RR achieved the target in 19.1 overs with seven wickets to spare.

RCB grab the top spot in the points table with 18 points, followed by GT and SRH with 16 points each. They have qualified for the playoffs. After the victory, RR have moved to fourth with 14 points.

Punjab Kings are next with 13 points, followed by CSK and Delhi Capitals with 12 points each. KKR take the eighth spot with 11 points, while the Mumbai Indians and LSG are at the bottom with eight points each.
