Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna has added an unwanted record to his name during the ongoing second test between England Cricket Team and Indian Cricket Team . Krishna has registered the record for the worst bowling economy in the longest format of the game amongst the bowlers who have bowled 500 deliveries. The right-arm pacer has played five tests so far.
Krishna was picked as one of the pacers in the squad for India’s tour of England 2025. He has emerged too expensive for India in the series so far. In the first test at Headingley, he registered bowling economy of more than 6.0 in both innings.
He continued to struggle with his economy in the second test at Edgbaston as well, leaking runs at an economy of 6.50 in the first innings. Krishna has played five tests so far and picked 13 wickets across eight innings. He has a poor average of 40.69 and a dismal economy of 5.13.
