[Watch] Priyansh Arya hits six sixes in an over for South Delhi Superstarz in DPLT20

Priyansh Arya hammered 10 sixes in his knock of 120 runs off 50 deliveries.

South Delhi Superstarz player Priyansh Arya scripted history as he slammed six sixes in an over against the North Delhi Strikers in the inaugural edition of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2024 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, on August 31.

Priyansh achieved the epic feat during the 12th over of South Delhi Superstarz’s innings against North Delhi Strikers’s spinner Manan Bhardwaj.

The first delivery from Manan was hit over the long-off boundary after Priyansh stepped down the track. The second delivery was blasted over long-on for a huge six.

On the third ball, Priyansh once again came down the track and hammered a six over the long-on boundary. The southpaw then slammed Bhardwaj for two consecutive sixes over his head.

The last delivery was powerfully struck and it went just over the long-off fielder for another maximum to complete six sixes in an over.

Priyansh’s place in history as only the fifth Indian to hit six sixes in an over after Ravi Shastri, Yuvraj Singh, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Vamshhi Krrishna.

Priyansh Arya and Ayush Badoni’s explosive centuries helped SDS post 308/5

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, South Delhi Superstarz batters Priyansh and Ayush Badoni displayed a brutal power-hitting show against North Delhi Strikers.

Opener Priyansh slammed 120 runs off 50 deliveries, including 10 boundaries and as many maximums. Skipper Ayush Badoni cracked 165 runs off 55 balls with the help of eight boundaries and 19 sixes.

Both centuries powered South Delhi Superstarz to a huge total of 308/5 in 20 overs.
