Rachin Ravindra scored a century and won man of the match on his ICC Cricket World Cup debut against England.

In 2019, a young 19-year-old cricket enthusiast named Rachin Ravindra sat in a bustling bar in Bangalore, eyes glued to the television screen as he watched the electrifying final of the ICC Cricket World Cup. Little did he know that just four years later, he would be on the grand stage himself, smashing an astonishing 82-ball century in the opening game of the 2023 World Cup, leaving the cricketing world in awe.

Rachin Ravindra's journey from a cricket-loving teenager in India to a formidable force on the global cricketing scene is nothing short of remarkable. Born in Wellington, New Zealand, to Indian origin parents. The youngster fell in love with the game at a very young age, honing his cricketing skills in the twin island nation with a far fetched dream of representing his country of birth.

Fast forward to 2023, and Rachin Ravindra is now a key player in the New Zealand national team, known for his elegant left-handed batting and effective left-arm spin. The 23-year-old's heroics in the World Cup 2023 opener against a formidable England side has cemented his status as a rising star in world cricket.

Rachin who’s name is a combination of two of greatest Indian cricketers Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar (Ra from Rahul Dravid and chin from Sacin Tendulkar) picked up one wicket with his left arm slow bowling was adjourned the Man of the Match against England in the 2023 edition of ICC Cricket World Cup in India.
