Indian Cricket Team Head Coach Rahul Dravid and others to assemble at NCA before ICC WTC Final

Rahul Dravid, Vikram Rathour, Paras Mhambrey and others to meet at the NCA.

Most of the senior Indian players are right now busy with the Indian Premier League. Indian Cricket Team management has now started to prepare for the challenge right after the IPL 2023. The Indian team will be playing against Australia in the ICC World Test Championship finals in England. India will be playing their second Test Championship final. BCCI has decided to assemble Indian Support staff under one roof before the championship. Indian Cricket Team’s head coach Rahul Dravid and other members of the support will assemble at National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

Indian Team management and BCCI are looking to address many issues before the Test Championship final scheduled at The Oval. There are injury issues with the Indian Team. Key players like Jasprit Bumrah and Shreyas Iyer are in serious trouble with their back injuries. New Zealand defeated the Indian team in the inaugural ICC World Test Championship final in 2021.

NCA Head VVS Laxman to meet the Indian Team Management

The Indian team will be looking to break the jinx in ICC tournaments. India has not won any ICC trophy since the 2013 Champions Trophy. A BCCI source has informed the media that Along with Rahul Dravid, Batting coach Vikram Rathore, Bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, Fielding coach T Dilip and others will be meeting the NCA team headed by VVS Laxman.

As per the reports, Head Coach Rahul Dravid and NCA head VVS Laxman will also be looking at the workload management of a few players keeping ICC World Cup 2023 in October this year. There are several injuries concerns with a few of the Indian stars. Head of Sports Science Nitin Patel may face a few tough questions ahead of the big tournaments. Indian players will have a week to assemble before the all important ICC World Test Championship final.
