Rohit Sharma will lead India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Rohit Sharma‘s leadership has been a topic of discussion among critics in the recent months. While the 37-year-old has been highly praised for India’s consistency in the white-ball formats, he faced backlash following India’s poor performance in the test series against New Zealand at home and Australia Down Under.
India recently whitewashed England in the three-match ODI series. Rohit returned to form by scoring a century in the second game of the series in Cuttack.
Recently-retired veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has now shared his thoughts on Rohit’s leadership qualities, calling the Indian captain the “most selfless cricketer.”
