Ravindra Jadeja becomes first left-arm bowler, overall 10th to pick 150 wickets in the IPL history

Ravindra Jadeja has taken 151 wickets in 225 matches he has played in the Indian Premier League history.

Chennai Super Kings left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja touched a milestone in his Indian Premier League career against Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1 game at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. Ravindra Jadeja has completed his 150th wicket in his IPL career. Gujarat Titans' Dasun Shanaka became Jadeja’s 150 scalps in the league. Ravindra Jadeja has also become the first left-arm bowler to complete the 150th wicket in his IPL career. He is the only left-arm bowler to have touched this milestone among the top 15 leading wicket-takers. Next is Axar Patel with 112 wickets. Jadeja took 225 games in the Indian Premier League to pick up his 150th wicket. 

Apart from Ravindra Jadeja, Delhi Capitals' Axar Patel is 2nd in the leading wicket-taker list for left-arm bowlers with 112 wickets in 136 games. Gujarat Titans' current head coach Ashish Nehra is 3rd with 106 wickets in 88 games. Nehra revived his international career with his IPL performance. Rajasthan Royals' strike bowler Trent Boult is 4th with 105 wickets in 88 games. Boult has been a star performer for the Royals in the IPL. Former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan is 5th with 102 wickets in 100 games.

Rajasthan Royals leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is the leading wicket-taker in the IPL with 187 wickets. Chahal in the IPL 2023 overtook the Royals' current bowling coach Lasith Malinga who ended his career at 183 wickets. Piyush Chawla also came up to third in this elite list with his brilliant bowling this season. Chawla has 177 wickets, he picked up 20 this season.
