According to a report in The Hindu, about 10 people have been killed due to a stampede near Gate No. 3 of the stadium. Moreover, 24 people have been injured during the incident, and the death toll is likely to go up. The deceased and injured people were taken to Bowring Hospital in Shivajinagar after the incident.
