RCB vs DC: All-time head-to-head record in WPL history

RCB vs DC final will happen for the second time in the WPL’s history.

The WPL 2026 season will culminate with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) taking on the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the final on February 5, 2026 at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. This will be the second time the two teams will meet in a WPL final.

After close to a month’s gruelling league-stage action, RCB Women and DC Women will fight it out for the coveted WPL title. RCB are the former champions of the 2024 season, while Delhi Capitals have entered into the WPL final for the fourth consecutive season.

Talking about RCB’s campaign, they won five on the trot and became the first team to qualify for the playoffs. Their first loss of the season came against the DC and then they lost another game against the Mumbai Indians (MI). A win against the UP Warriorz in their final league game guaranteed them a spot in the final.

DC’s campaign under their new captain, Jemimah Rodrigues, had a horrid start. They lost their first two games of the season with their first win coming against UP Warriorz in their third game. That win was followed by a loss to RCB in their first meeting of the season. DC Women then defeated MI in the reverse fixture of the season after losing the first game between the two sides previously.

DC had a quick turnaround as they defeated RCB in the reverse fixture and then lost to Gujarat Giants in their next game. After that, they beat UP Warriorz in their final league game to make it to the Eliminator. Here again, they met the Gujarat Giants, against whom they had previously lost a closely contested match. This time around, Jemimah Rodrigues led from the front to take her side through to the final.

Jemimah Rodrigues and Smriti Mandhana, two friends, will lead their respective sides in the final. For the final, their friendship will take a backseat as winning the trophy will be their main aim. Ahead of the final, we will take a look at the detailed head-to-head records between both sides in the WPL.
