KKR need to crush RCB in the next clash to keep their hopes alive to qualify for the playoffs.

A few games at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in the past were affected by rain. According to the forecast from weather.com, the temperature of Bengaluru city on Saturday, May 17, will be 29° C during the day and 21° C at night.
The sky will witness thunderstorms during the day and night. The chances of rain are 58% during the day and 76% at night. Since the RCB vs KKR clash will commence at 7:30 PM at night, there is a high chance of rain affecting the encounter.

Meanwhile, only two games out of 57 have been washed out due to rain and ended with no result. The 44th match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and KKR ended in no result. The 55th match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) was washed out due to rain.
