India’s batting superstar Virat Kohli has got the biggest fan following among the cricketers in the current era. Virat’s popularity has grown multi folds among sportspersons around the World. According to Hopper HQ, Virat Kohli is making use of his popularity in social media. Report suggests that earns the most among cricketers for an Instagram post he does for marketing and promotion. 

According to a Hopper HQ report, Former Indian captain Virat Kohli earns 14 crores to do one Instagram for marketing and promotion. This amount is bigger than any other cricketer earns through a social media post on Instagram. Virat Kohli has got 256 Million followers on Instagram and got the biggest reach as he is the 3rd most followed sportsperson in the world right after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Portuguese star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is the top earner from an Instagram post. 

Cristiano Ronaldo earns about 26 Crore rupees (32,34,000 US$) with an Instagram post. Ronaldo has 599 Million followers on Instagram and very soon he will be touching the 600 million mark. Ronaldo’s account is the second most followed on Instagram after the Instagram official account that has 650 Million followers. Argentinian star Lionel Messi is second on the list with 21.50 Crore rupees (25,97,000 US$), Messi has 482 million followers on Instagram and is the second most followed sportsperson. 

Virat Kohli had a magnificent test series against West Indies. He scored a century at Queens Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago. Virat scored 198 runs in two innings that concluded last month. Virat Kohli and Indian captain Rohit Sharma were both rested after the first ODI against West Indies. Virat Kohli will have a huge role to play in the upcoming big events for team India. He will be next seen in the Asia Cup, which will begin on 30th August and right after that.
