Rinku Singh will be seen in action for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2024.
Rinku Singh, a finisher for India and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), was caught off guard while practicing with KKR ahead of the Indian Premier League 2024. During the nets, one of Rinku’s powerful sixes struck a young cricketer in the forehead.
Rinku Singh was one of the prominent players in the KKR lineup for the 2023 IPL season. The Uttar Pradesh batter had the opportunity to play a full season of the IPL for the first time and delivered an outstanding performance.
Rinku’s performance in the IPL 2023 helped him become a household celebrity, prompting the Indian team to select him as a specialized finisher.
Rinku has performed admirably since making his debut for the Indian team. The left-hander has scored 356 runs in 15 T20I games, with a strike rate of 176.23. Rinku averages 89 with the Indian squad and has lately scored two half-centuries.
The batter is anticipated to be chosen for the T20 World Cup 2024 by the Indian side, which will rely on the Indian Premier League 2024 to help with selections. India will be captained by Rohit Sharma, who returned to the T20I format after a one-year absence.
Sorry, Yaar: Rinku Singh offers KKR cap to ball boy following training accident
KKR shared a video on their social media handles of the incident on Tuesday, March 12, in which the batter was seen immediately approaching the child and apologizing. Rinku was accompanied by KKR assistant coach Abhishek Nayar, who gave the youngster a KKR cap.
Rinku even signed the hat for the kid before the latter left.
