Rishabh Pant starts his rehabilitation at the NCA
According to few media reports, Rishabh Pant is ruled out of the Asia Cup and ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant has begun his rehabilitation at National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Pant, suffering a massive accident in December last year has been giving his best to make a comeback in the Indian Cricket Team. Reportedly he will miss the Asia Cup, and World Cup 2023 scheduled later in this year. Pant has been out of action due to an accident since December last year. Pant’s recovery will be an inspiring and emotional one for the fans and for those who look up to a fighter while shaping their career.
The Delhi batter in an Instagram story has revealed that he has begun his rehabilitation at National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Recently seen in an IPL game at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, He was unable to walk and was on crutches. Pant in that story can be seen getting treatment on his right leg which is plastered. Pant was also available in the Delhi Capitals camp before the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on 15th April. Since then he has started his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy. Pant’s full recovery will take 6-8 months. He was gravely injured in that accident and had to airlift Mumbai from Dehradun to get treatment.
Delhi Capitals in their full-time captain Rishabh Pant’s absence are struggling in the IPL 2023. Before winning their last two back-to-back games, they had lost the first 5 consecutively. David Warner is leading the Delhi Capitals squad in Pant’s absence. Pant has been emotional in his journey after the accident. He has posted several emotional posts on social media. In one of his posts, he once shared that even brushing his teeth and walking seems like a luxury in his life.
Rishabh Pant suffered a massive accident when he was heading back to Roorkee from New Delhi to give a New Year surprise to his mother. Just a few kilometers away from Roorkee he rammed his car into a divider. A roadways bus driver and cleaner came forward to help him to get the required treatment as early as possible.
