Rishabh Pant injury update: Watch - Pant starts walking without crutches
Rishabh Pant posted a video on social media of him throwing his crutches away.
On Friday, Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter who is recovering from injuries sustained from an accident, posted a video in which he can be seen walking without crutches for the first time in a while. The video is titled "Happy NO MORE CRUTCHES Day!" and begins with Pant taking a few steps with a crutch before discarding it and walking without any support.

Rishabh Pant's Horrific accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway
In the early hours of December 30, just before the start of the new year, Rishabh Pant was involved in a horrific accident when he was going his home to surprise his mother in Roorkee and his car collided with a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. Fortunately, due to his quick reflexes, the star Indian wicketkeeper-batter managed to jump out of his Mercedes just in time before it caught fire after hitting the divider. Though he survived the accident, he suffered serious injuries.
Pant visited Delhi Capitals' squad in Bengaluru few weeks ago
Recently, Pant made an appearance in Bengaluru to visit the Delhi Capitals squad before their Indian Premier League match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. When asked about his recovery, he stated, "“I am recovering very well and I’m getting better with each passing day. I came to visit the National Cricket Academy and the Delhi Capitals happened to be there. So I met the team.”
Additionally, Pant expressed his eagerness to be around the team again, saying, "It was great to witness the team's practice and be around the boys. I miss it a lot."
