SA vs IND: 5 bowlers you must have in your Dream11 team
The four-match SA vs IND T20I series will begin on November 8 at Kingsmead, Durban.
It is time for some more T20I action as India will tour South Africa for a four-match series in the shortest format in November. It will begin with the first game at Kingsmead, Durban, on November 8.
Suryakumar Yadav will lead a young Indian side that includes several young and inexperienced players. It will be a big challenge for them as South Africa have brought back their big-name stars for this series.
With the pitches in South Africa offering a great deal of pace and bounce, we can expect a great battle between bat and ball. Here, we will discuss the five bowlers whom you should pick in your Dream11 team for the SA vs IND T20I series.
Here are the five bowlers you must have in your Dream11 team during the SA vs IND T20I series:
5. Ravi Bishnoi
Ravi Bishnoi is a thorough wicket-taker in the middle overs in T20 cricket. He played one game against Bangladesh and took 3/30. He also became the joint-second fastest Indian to take 50 T20I wickets, achieving it in 33 games.
Bishnoi is faster than other spinners and, unlike regular leg-spinners, his stock ball is the googly, which makes him a potent wicket-taking option for his captain. That is why you should have him in your Dream11 teams for the SA vs IND T20Is.
4. Marco Jansen
Marco Jansen will be leading South Africa’s pace attack as Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje are not part of this series. Jansen emerged as a terrific new-ball bowler and has added slower ball variations to his arsenal to use them in the death overs.
He is tough to deal with on bouncy surfaces in South Africa, and his height is an added advantage for him.
Jansen can swing the ball at a good pace, which gets him wickets in the powerplay. He is a bankable bowler upfront and one whom you can pick in your fantasy team.
3. Keshav Maharaj
Keshav Maharaj is coming off a great test series in Bangladesh, where he took 13 wickets in two tests. He is a street-smart bowler who can bowl in any condition and knows how to adjust his length.
He has played against India across formats and will be aware of the type of batsmen he will face. In T20s, Maharaj bowls economical spells with one or two wickets regularly. Hence, he is a terrific bowler to pick in your Dream11 team for the SA vs IND T20Is.
2. Gerald Coetzee
The 24-year-old pacer Gerald Coetzee will be back in South African colours after a break. He is one of the future stars of fast bowling and attained success in last year’s ICC World Cup.
He is fiery, like Dale Steyn, has pace and can generate deadly seam movement. At home, he can be lethal for the Indian batters.
1. Arshdeep Singh
Indian left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has been superb since his T20I debut for India in 2022. He is only 25 years old, but has taken fourth-most T20I wickets for India already.
Arshdeep is an astute bowler, and his ability to outfox the batters at any stage of the game is the reason for his consistency. India will rely on his performances in this series. He was the joint-leading wicket-taker in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
