The second Semi-final of ICC Champions Trophy 2025, SA vs NZ, will be played in Lahore.
The second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 between South Africa and New Zealand will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Wednesday, March 5.
South Africa have shown excellent consistency across formats in recent years. They reached the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 and are also in the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25.
They sailed through the group stage of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 unbeaten, defeating England and Afghanistan, while their match against Australia was washed out.
New Zealand, on the other hand, defeated Pakistan and Bangladesh in their first two group stage matches, but then lost to India on a spin-friendly Dubai wicket. The Kiwis have been excellent in the bowling department, with Matt Henry and William O’Rourke consistently among the wickets.
The winners of this game will face India in the final of the tournament on Sunday, March 9 in Dubai.
