SA20 2024: Points table, most runs, most wickets, after Match 12 and 13

Sunrisers Easter Cape and Johannesburg Super Kings won their respective game on Saturday in SA20 2024.

Donovan Ferreira’s late fireworks against Pretoria Capitals provided Joburg Super Kings their first win of the ongoing SA20 2024 season. Donovan Ferreira ended the game with a phenomenal cameo of 56 runs in 20 balls. Ferreira smashed seven fours and three sixes in his knock to entertain the Wanderers crowd. Pretoria Capitals posted 167 runs on the board after early blows and in the second innings, Donovan Ferreira took all the limelight from everyone and went to get a six wickets win for his side.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape outperformed Durban’s Super Giants by five wickets in the afternoon game and won their second league game of the season. Super Giants suffered their second consecutive defeat. Sunrisers Eastern Cape batter Tristan Stubbs (66) played a brilliant knock to help his side chase 160 against Durban. Sunrisers got off to a poor start in their chase but Stubbs played a match-winning knock for them. Eastern Cape off-spinner Simon Harmer won the Player of the Match award for his magnificent spell of four wickets. Harmer conceded only 18 runs for his four wicket haul.

SA20 2024: Points Table :

Johannesburg Super Kings defeated Pretoria Capitals to win their first game of the season. They are now placed at fifth place with six points in five games. Pretoria Capitals slips back to bottom after a crushing defeat at Wanderers. In afternoon name, Sunrisers Eastern Cape defeated Durban’s Super Giants to go one place up. Sunrisers are now third in the table with 10 points in four games. Eastern Cape have won two out of their four league games so far. Durban suffered their second consecutive loss, they are now second on the table with 13 points in five games.

SA20 2024: Most Runs

MI Cape Town opener Ryan Rickelton is leading run-scorer of the SA20 2024 with 337 runs. Rickelton’s opening partner Rassie van der Dussen is second in the list with 210 runs. Durban’s Super Giants wicket-keeper Heinrich Klaasen is now third in the list with 194 runs. Klaasen scored 31 against Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Paarl Royals opener Jos Buttler is fourth in the list with 169 runs. Pretoria Capitals opener Will Jacks is now fifth in the table with 165 runs. Jacks got out on just one run against Johannesburg Super Kings.

Johannesburg Super Kings pacer Lizaad Williams has now become leading wicket-taker of the SA20 2024 after a magnificent 3/26 spell against Pretoria Capitals. Lizaad Williams is number one with nine wickets. Paarl Royals pacer Lungi Ngidi is second in the chart with eight wickets in three games. Durban’s Super Giants pacer Reece Topley is third with eight wickets. Topley picked up one wicket against Sunrisers. Durban Super Giants left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj is fourth with six wickets. Pretoria Capitals all-rounder Will Jacks is fifth in this list with five wickets, he took two wickets against Super Kings.
