In the 9th SA20 2024 match between Joburg Super Kings and Paarl Royals, JSK opted to bat first after winning the toss in Paarl. Despite a commendable 71-run innings from Leus du Plooy, they posted a target of 135 runs in 20 overs.

Paarl Royals, in response, showcased a dominant performance, securing victory with seven wickets in hand and 5.5 overs remaining.
