SA20 2025-26 Prediction: Which team is favourite to win the title?

The final of the SA20 2025-26 tournament will be played on January 25 with SEC, PC, PR and SEC making it into the playoffs.

The SA20 has grown leaps and bounds in the three seasons prior and has produced some exciting cricket for their fans and everyone around the world and same has been the case in the recent SA20 2026 tournament. The Qualifier 1 of the SA20 2026 was played in Durban on January 21, while the Eliminator match will be played on January 22 in Centurion. The loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator match will play in Qualifier 2 on January 23 in Johannesburg, and the winner of this match will clash with the winner of Qualifier 1 in the SA20 2026 final on January 25 in Cape Town

Who will win SA20? – Prediction

Pretoria Capitals, Paarl Royals, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, and Joburg Super Kings are all strongly in contention for the SA20 2026 title, making it one of the most intense contests in the short history of the SA20.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape have won the SA20 the most times, twice, while the remainder of the teams will be vying for their maiden SA20 titles. All of the four franchises have had their moments of excellence; the winner may finally come to fruition on the basis of team excellence, individual brilliance, luck, and the momentum they carry in the playoffs.

Coached by Indian legend Sourav Ganguly, the Pretoria Capitals have been one of the most consistent teams in the SA20 league stage. Thanks to a very dangerous batting lineup, highlighted by some big names, Pretoria has managed to clinch wins in some big and important matches.

The Pretoria Capitals are favorites to win the SA20 2026 title, as they have won both at home and also in away conditions. Their players are also in great form, having performed in extreme pressure conditions, highlighted by some excellent individual brilliance. They also won the Qualifier 1, beating SEC in final.

Paarl Royals deserve some serious consideration as they have battled in some tightly fought games to remain in contention for the playoffs and the SA20 title this season. They have several notable match-winners in their ranks, including captain David Miller. Paarl has built momentum at the right time, with both team performances at crucial times and some individual performances in crunch times.

Two-time winners Sunrisers Eastern Cape are also on the border of being called favorites to win the SA20 2026 title. The Eastern Cape team has made other teams very uneasy with some gritty performances in the ongoing competition. They have defeated some strong teams and combined their disciplined bowling with explosive batting to get results in their favor. Being inconsistent has been their Achilles heel, and their inability to close out close games might be their undoing.

The Joburg Super Kings have improved recently and have a chance to win the SA20 title. Given that their success has largely been on individual brilliance, despite this, Super Kings has shown that they can pull off miracles and might play spoilsport for some other teams.
