The England Cricket Team crushed the Indian Cricket Team by 22 runs in the recent third test at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. The thrilling clash went to the final session on the fifth day, where the hosts bowled out the opposition for 170 runs against a 193-run target. Many cricket fans enjoyed the game at the Lord’s stadium during the five days of the match.
India wicket-keeper batsman Jitesh Sharma was among them as well. But he had to face something hilarious before that, as he was denied entry at the Lord’s. The security guard did not recognise Jitesh, and the latter had issues in entering the stadium.
Eventually, Jitesh Sharma spotted Dinesh Karthik and called him. Later, Karthik helped him get inside the Lord’s stadium. Karthik is one of the commentators for Sky Sports in the ongoing India’s tour of England 2025.

Meanwhile, Sharma was last seen in action in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, where his team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), won the title by defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final. Sharma played a crucial role as the finisher for the team during the tournament.

England and India are now preparing for the fourth test, which will commence from July 23 at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester. Notably, spinner Shoaib Bashir has been ruled out of the series due to a finger injury. The hosts have added spinner Liam Dawson as a replacement.
India have a poor record in Manchester in tests, as they have never defeated England here. Out of nine test matches at the venue, England have won four games while five matches ended in a draw.
