Pakistan Cricket Team player Shaheen Afridi had a forgettable debut in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL). The left-arm pacer is playing for Brisbane Heat in the game against Melbourne Renegades at the Simonds Stadium in Geelong.
Shaheen Afridi bowled the second over of the innings and had a decent outing with the ball. However, as he returned in the 13th over, he was taken to the cleaners with Tim Seifert, who slammed a magical ton, taking him to the cleaners.
Shaheen Afridi was then trusted to bowl in the death over as he was given the responsibility to bowl the 18th over. However, that over that turned his BBL debut into a nightmare as he was taken off the field by umpire.
Shaheen Afridi started the over by giving a massive six and then on the third delivery, he bowled a beamer no-ball. He didn’t stop there as then on the 5th ball of the same over, he came up with the exact same delivery.
His two beamer no balls made the umpires stop him from bowling as he was taken off the attack. As per the rules of the game, a bowler isn’t eligible to bowl in the match if he delivers two beamers in the over.
