Shubman Gill scored a double century in the first innings and a century in the second innings.
The Indian Cricket Team and the England Cricket Team are wrestling in the second test of the five-match series at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Indian skipper Shubman Gill continued with his incredible batting show in the second innings of the match as well, scoring a century after a double ton in the first innings.
In second session of day four, the right-handed batsman reached his century off 129 deliveries, scoring nine fours and three sixes. Earlier, he smacked a double century in the first innings, mustering 269 runs to power India to a big total of 587/10.
With Gill’s century, India reached 304/4 at the end of the second session on day four. Moreover, the visitors have extended their lead to 484 runs and are en-route to set up a gigantic target for the hosts in the second innings.

Talking about the Egbaston test, India piled up 587/10 in the first innings with Gill’s double ton. Later, Mohammed Siraj hunted a six-wicket haul to bowl out England for 407 in the first innings, earning a massive 180-run lead for India.
