Shubman Gill slammed unbeaten 129 runs in first innings of the second IND vs WI test.

Indian Cricket Team skipper Shubman Gill achieved a massive feat in the history of the ICC World test Championship (WTC). He surpassed Rohit Sharma’s record of Indian batter with most number of centuries in the tournament’s history.

Shubman Gill achieved the feat after he slammed a magical ton during the second test against the West Indies Cricket Team. The last match of the series between the two teams is underway at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

In what was his fifth test ton as a captain, Shubman Gill made everyone stand and applaud him for his heroics. The right-hander, who hit a fifty in the last game, continued his good form and in the home ground of his master Virat Kohli, the apprentice esqued the way the former skipper batted.

Shubman Gill looked in solid touch with the bat right from the start. The captain continued with the overnight score of 20 and then oozed his class on day two, taking his team to a dominating position. In what was his tenth test ton, he shattered quite a few milestones.

Shubman Gill, with ten tons, now sits at the top of the list of Indian batters with the most centuries in ICC WTC history. He went past Rohit Sharma’s tally of nine test hundreds and with the way he is going, the number is only expected to rise.
