Shubman Gill scored an unbeaten century in the first innings of 2nd IND vs WI test.

After rocking with his batting show in the first innings, Shubman Gill grabbed the limelight with his fielding in the second innings of the ongoing second test between Indian Cricket Team and West Indies Cricket Team. The Indian captain came up with a brilliant effort in the field to remove Tagenarine Chanderpaul in the second session on day three.

The West Indies were bowled out for 248 in the first innings, in response to India’s 518, witnessing a follow-on. Mohammed Siraj provided his team with the first breakthrough by dismissing opener Chanderpaul in the ninth over.

As the left-handed batsman tried to play a pull shot towards the leg side, Gill ran from mid-wicket to mid-on to grab a brilliant catch. The Indian skipper put in a sensational dive with both hands and rolled on the floor, but did not lose his control of the ball to complete the catch. Chanderpaul lost his wicket for 10 runs off 30 deliveries, with the scoreboard reading 17/1.
