Shubman Gill was recently appointed as the test captain of the Indian Cricket Team.
Indian Cricket Team skipper Shubman Gill sent a massive warning to the West Indies and South Africa ahead of the home season. He said that they want to win all the four games and they are very well prepared for it.
India are all set to face West Indies in a two-match series, starting 2nd October. The first game of the series is underway at the Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad and the Shubman Gill-led side would be keen to start the home season on a high.
Following this, the second match will begin on 10th October at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi and then, India will host South Africa for a two-match series in November. All the four games are part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 and will be a great opportunity for Shubman Gill and his side to bag important points.
Since India have been dominant at home, they would be keen to win all the four games and bag important ICC WTC points. Skipper Shubman Gill is also confident of winning it as he sent a massive warning to both West Indies and South Africa.
We have got four Tests (at home) before the end of the year and we would like to win all four – Shubman Gill

Speaking at the toss of the first test against the West Indies, he said that everyone is in great touch and they want to win all the remaining four games this year. He also shared his take on the XI and said:
“We have got four Tests (at home) before the end of the year and we would like to win all four. Preparation has been good. Everyone is in great touch, it is about getting into the red-ball mindset. It looks like a very good surface.
“Not disappointed with losing the toss, it has been under covers and there might be some help early on. We have two seamers – Bumrah and Siraj, three spinners – Jaddu Bhai, Washington and Kuldeep, and allrounder Nitish Reddy.”
India will be in action for the first time at home in this edition of the ICC WTC. They last played against England in England and had a great outing there, drawing the series by a margin of 2-2.
