South Africa will face Netherlands in match 15 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in Dharamsala.

South Africa had a great start to their ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 campaign and are looking formidable. They started with a record-breaking total against Sri Lanka and then registered a massive win over five-time champions Australia in their second game. South Africa are looking pretty tough to beat in this tournament.

Their next challenge will be against Netherlands, who are a slightly weaker opponent as compared to others. This match will take place at the HPCA Stadium in Dharmasala on October 17 (Tuesday). This game will give proteas two important points, and if they can win by a big margin, they jump to the top of the table. We will talk about the predicted playing XI for South Africa against Netherlands.

SA vs NED: South Africa's Predicted playing XI vs Netherlands

1. Quinton de Kock :

Quinton de Kock has been in sublime touch this tournament. He entered this World Cup without scoring a century, but has already scored two consecutive hundreds in two matches. It is a great chance to make it three out of three. So we might see another big innings from the left-hander.

2. Temba Bavuma (C) :

South African skipper, Temba Bavuma, hasn't had a great start so far. He has not made an impact so far. But he can regain his form against an opponent like Netherlands, which is a slightly weaker team. He is expected to score runs that will help him gain confidence for the remaining tournament.

3. Rassie van der Dussen :

Rassie van der Dussen is an in-form batter at No. 3 for South Africa, which is good in every situation. He can bat in case of an early wicket falls and also bat aggressively after a good start by the openers. He smashed a brilliant ton in the first game and had a decent start against Australia in the last game. We might see another big score from him in Dharamsala.

4. Aiden Markram :

Aiden Markram set the stage on fire when he smashed a 49-balls ton in the opening game against Sri Lanka. He smashed the quickest World Cup hundred of all time. Markram is in good form and has scored 162 runs in two innings at an average and strike rate of 81 and 165.30, respectively. He will be a big wicket because he can take the game away.

5. Heinrich Klaasen :

Heinrich Klaasen has shown his ability until now in two games and has scored 61 runs so far at a strike rate of 129.78. But he is the X-factor on this team and can take the game away with his power-hitting ability whenever required. Netherlands will be under pressure if he stays for 5-7 overs.

6. David Miller :

David Miller is the man who has been consistent for his team in this role. Whether they are chasing or batting first, Miller is the one who adds another 15-20 runs extra when it comes to final overs. His hitting is one important key for this team, and he can play a quick cameo on Tuesday.

7. Marco Jansen :

With only six specialist batters, the role of Marco Jansen becomes very important. He bats at No. 7 and can hit some big sixes. But he will be tested if some wickets fall cheaply. However, he has been doing well with his primary role which is taking wickets up-front. Jansen has taken four wickets and is a very tough bowler with the new ball.

8. Kagiso Rabada :

Kagiso Rabada will be a big threat for Netherlands with the new ball. The pitch in Dharamsala helps the pacers pretty well, and Rabada can exploit the conditions pretty well. He is the leader of this pace attack and can make any batter dance on this ball. Dutch will have to worry about his spells in the game.

9. Keshav Maharaj:

Keshav Maharaj has been pretty impressive so far. He has taken four wickets in two games at an economy rate of 4.60, where South Africa has been involved in high-scoring games. This economic rate is just incredible. He will be a big hurdle in the middle-overs for Netherlands.

10. Lungi Ngidi :

Lungi Ngidi bowled a brilliant spell against Australia, which totally pushed them away from the chase. He bowled his eight overs for just 1/18 when Australia needed over 300 to chase. Ngidi can be pretty hard to handle in Dharamsala because of his height and length. So we expect him to pick up some wickets early on.

11. Tabraiz Shamsi :

Tabraiz Shamsi played his first game against Australia and made an impact right away. He bowled a spell of 2/38 and was pretty hard to pick. South Africa are likely to go with the winning combination, and Shamsi will be the second spinner in the team. And with his variations, it will be hard to pick him.
