South Africa had a disappointing run in the previous edition in 2019. South Africa finished 7th out of 10 teams and won only 3 games out of 9 league encounters.
South Africa have failed to make it to the finals in the 8 editions they have played. Temba Bavuma’s side will be looking to end the Proteas' trophy drought in the big ICC event. South Africa will play their 9 league games across 8 different venues and Wankhede Stadium will be hosting the South Africa's games twice.
