South Africa Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Fixtures, Dates, Venues

South Africa will kick-off their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Sri Lanka on 3rd June.
South Africa showed a lot of character in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India and qualified for the semi-finals in the event. The Proteas also had a dominating run in the tournament and lost only two games in their league round campaign. Once again South Africa will be expected to carry the momentum in the upcoming T20 World Cup in West Indies and USA. South Africa will enter into the T20 World Cup 2024 with huge expectations from their fans.
South Africa were part of Group 2 in the previous T20 World Cup in 2022 in Australia but failed to qualify for the next round due to a surprising loss against the Netherlands. The Dutch side also came out winning the game against South Africa in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 as well. South Africa will once again face their biggest roadblock as they are part of the same group along with Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal in Group D.
South Africa to begin campaign on 3rd June
South Africa will be playing their first three league games of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 at Eisenhower Park in New York and then their caravan will move to West Indies to play their final league game at Arnos Vale Cricket Stadium, Kingstown in Saint Vincent. South Africa will have a tough challenge in Group D which is filled with few dark horses. South Africa will be playing their first game of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Sri Lanka on the 3rd of June.
South Africa’s big game against the Netherlands will be played on 8th June in New York. On 10th June, South Africa will be taking on another dark horse Bangladesh in New York. South Africa will play their final league game against Nepal on 14th June. If South Africa manage to get the top 2 positions in Group D, they will qualify for the next round in Super 8.
