India will start their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign against Bangladesh.

India, just like any other ICC tournament, will walk into the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 as one of the favorites. The Men in Blue have been in impressive form in white-ball cricket over the past two years, reaching the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and clinching the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The team, however, will miss the services of star pacer Jasprit Bumrah in the tournament as he was unable to beat the clock to recover from a back injury. Interestingly, India are also the only team carrying five spinners to the tournament.

The Asian giants have been drawn in Group A of the tournament alongside hosts Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, and will play all of their games in Dubai.

India will begin their campaign against Bangladesh on Thursday, February 20. Their second match of the tournament will be against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday, February 23. Their group stage journey will conclude against New Zealand on March 2.

On that note, let’s take a look at the squads of India’s opponents in the group stage of the competition.
