Shivam Mavi RULED OUT of IPL 2026; SRH name THIS India U19 star as replacement

Shivam Mavi has been ruled out of IPL 2026 due to a groin injury.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are looking one of the strongest teams in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 with a lethal batting attack. They have bagged victories in five games in a row.
Out of nine games, they have won six and lost three. With 12 points, SRH are placed in the third spot in the IPL 2026 points table. In their previous game, they chased down a mammoth 244-run target against the Mumbai Indians (MI) in just 18.4 overs.
With the likes of in-form batters like Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, and Heinrich Klaasen, the SRH have a formidable batting unit in IPL 2026. Recently, Pat Cummins returned to the squad and his addition strengthened their pace attack as well.
SRH sign RS Ambrish as a replacement for injured Shivam Mavi

Amid their campaign, SRH have suffered a blow as their pacer Shivam Mavi has been ruled out of remained of the season due to a groin injury. The right-arm pacer was picked by them for INR 75 lakh in the auction. He warmed the bench in all nine games.
The Pat Cummins & Co. have named RS Ambrish as his replacement. He is an uncapped medium-pace all-rounder who went unsold in the mini-auction at his base price of INR 30 lakh. He has not played any games in the IPL so far.
Ambrish is a right-arm medium pacer and left-handed batsman who plays for India Under-19. He was also part of the Under-19 Indian team that won the U-19 ICC ODI World Cup earlier this year. He was India’s joint-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 11 wickets.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad will next clash with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Sunday (May 3). The afternoon clash will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
