Sri Lanka are gearing up for the Super 8 round of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, which will see eight teams compete for a place in the semi-finals. Sri Lanka were placed in Group B in the first round, where they won three games out of four.

In the Super 8 round, Sri Lanka are placed in Group 2 with England, Pakistan, and New Zealand. The Dasun Shanaka-led side will clash with England in their opening game on Sunday (February 22) at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. It will be the 42nd match of the tournament.
Later, they will lock horns with New Zealand in their next encounter on February 25. The 46th match of the T20 World Cup will be played at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. In their third game, they will face Pakistan on February 28 in Pallekele once again.
