Sri Lanka finished at the top spot in group B points table to book a berth in Super Four stage of Asia Cup 2025. They were placed with Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong in their group and won three back-to-back games to earn six points.
The Charith Asalanka-led side outplayed Bangladesh in their opening clash by six wickets. Opting to bowl first, they restricted Bangladesh to 139/5 in the first innings. Later, Pathum Nissanka (50) hammered a fifty while Kamil Mishara scored an unbeaten 46 runs to propel the team to a comfortable victory.
In their second match, Sri Lanka halted Hong Kong at 149/4 in the first innings. Nissanka (68) roared once again with the bat and led the team to victory by four wickets with his fifty. In the third clash against Afghanistan, Sri Lanka had a challenging target of 170 runs.
However, Kusal Mendis slammed an unbeaten 74 runs to drive the team to a magnificent victory by six wickets. With the victory, Sri Lanka confirmed their spot in the Super Four stage.
What is Sri Lanka’s schedule for the Super Four stage of Asia Cup 2025?

Sri Lanka will play three games during the Super Four stage of Asia Cup 2025. They will play their opening game against Bangladesh on September 20 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. This will be the second clash between both teams in the tournament.
Later, Sri Lanka will face Pakistan on September 23 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Their last match is scheduled against India on September 26 in Dubai. If Sri Lanka finish in the top two spots in the Super Four points table, they will play in the final on September 28.
