After retiring from tests, Stuart Broad spills beans on James Anderson's future

Stuart Broad hints at James Anderson's retirement from international cricket
In the post-match presentation after the end of the third day of the fifth test, Broad spoke about his retirement and thanked everyone who supported him throughout his career. He also revealed that Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum were the first ones he told about his decision. However, when asked about how his decision would affect James Anderson's retirement plans, he clarified that the 41-year-old didn't have any plans to retire as of now.
Broad said that with a break after the Ashes, which will also help Anderson stay fresh and keep going. The pacer said, "Jimmy will carry on, definitely. There's a bit of break after this series. I was delighted to hear that Jimmy was going to keep going and carry on, because it's nice that there will be one half of that partnership still within the changing room, until it sort of gets passed over when Jimmy decides his time is up."
Speaking of the game, England ended Day 3 at 389/9 with Broad (2) and Anderson (8) unbeaten on the crease. The hosts have a lead of 377 with two days to go. They will have a great chance in hand to go for a win and level the series at 2-2.
