ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 winning Indian squad to get top-end model cars from Tata Motors

India Women crushed South Africa Women in the final of ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
The rewards for India Women Cricket Team keep pouring in after their victory in the final of ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. Automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has joined the bandwagon as they announced that they will gift a new car to each player of the squad.
The Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. crushed South Africa Women in the final of ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 on Sunday, November 2, at 5h3 Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. Winning their first-ever ICC title, the Women in Blue scripted their name in the record books.
After their triumph, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a cash reward of Rs. 51 crores for the team. Some state governments also announced cash rewards for their respective players. For instance, the Maharashtra Government announced a reward of Rs. 2.25 crores each for Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues and Radha Yadav. The Himachal Pradesh Government announced Rs. one crore prize for fast bowler Renuka Singh Thakur.
Tata Motors to gift cars to each India Women player

Now, Tata Motors has said that they will gift Tata Sierra car to each India Women player in a move to applaud their indomitable spirit for the nation.
“The Company will be presenting the top-end model of the Sierra to each member of the team, applauding their indomitable spirit and recognizing their immense contribution and sacrifice in bringing glory to the country,” Tata Motors said in a statement.
In their lead-up to the title, India Women crushed seven-time champions Australia Women by five wickets in the semi-final. This was a big confidence booster for them as they scripted the record for highest ever chase in WODIs, chasing 339 runs.
In the nail-biting final, India Women successfully defended their first innings total of 298/7, bowling out the opposition for 246 runs. Shafali Verma played a crucial role in the clash, smacking 87 runs and clinching two wickets to win Player of the Match award. Deepti Sharma, who finished as the leading wicket-taker with 22 scalps, was adjudged Player of the Tournament.
