Heinrich Klaasen was dismissed for 109 runs on 67 balls in the final overs. Klaasen was castled by Gus Atkinson, who came in replacing Sam Curran in the playing XI. Klaasen smashed 12 fours and four towering sixes at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Mumbai crowd also enjoyed his innings to the fullest, as the crowd was extremely cheerful in his favour while he was batting in the middle. This is Klaasen’s maiden World Cup century.

Along with Heinrich Klaasen, all-rounder Marco Jansen also contributed immensely to South African total of 399 runs. Jansen scored an unbeaten 75 and faced just 42 balls in his innings. Jansen smashed three fours and six sixes in his innings and added 151 runs in 13 overs along with Klaasen. Reeza Hendricks scored 85, while Rassie Van Der Dussen scored 60 in the top-order.
