Twitter reacts as India make five changes in playing XI in IND vs BAN Asia Cup 2023 Super Four clash

Team India made five changes in playing XI against Bangladesh in Super Four match of Asia Cup 2023.
Team India have made five changes for their last super four clash in Asia Cup 2023. Indian team management rested Virat Kohli, vice-captain Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, and Mohammed Siraj from the playing XI against Bangladesh. In place of all these guys, they have given bench strength much-needed game time before the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India. Tilak Varma will be making his ODI debut in this game as he was presented with cap number 252 in the One-day International for India.
Fans have also responded to team India’s experimental stance before the big Asia Cup finals on Sunday. Twitter looks divided, as few people have reacted positively to the decision while a few have once again raised questions over team India’s stance. A lot of social media users were disappointed to not see Virat Kohli’s name in the playing XI. Jasprit Bumrah just made his comeback in the 50-overs format, and soon after bowling in two innings, Bumrah was rested again.
Here's how twitter reacted to India making five changes in playing XI:
Shreyas Iyer still not fit
Team India made many changes in their playing XI, but Shreyas Iyer’s name was again missing from the playing XI. The BCCI responded positively, and according to a few reports, they have informed the media that Shreyas Iyer is showing improvement but is still not match ready. Fans look worried, as even after making the bulk of the changes, Shreyas Iyer didn’t find a place in the playing XI. Iyer played against Nepal, and after that, he missed out on action due to back spasms.
Fans have also reacted to Shreyas Iyer’s fitness concern and are hoping Iyer gets fit sooner as ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is not far away. In the worst-case scenario, Sanju Samson or Tilak Varma will be drafted in as Shreyas Iyer’s replacement in the 15-member World Cup squad. Team India will be playing Asia Cup 2023 finals against Sri Lanka on Sunday at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Sri Lanka qualified for the finals after winning a thriller against Pakistan on Thursday.
