Australian batting unite once again had a collapse after a decent fight till 206 for 4 in the second innings. India managed to get them bundled out on 261 and get a lead of 74 runs. Sneh Rana (4/63) once again shined for India in the second innings and her magnificent spell along with Rajeshwari Gaikwad (2/42) and captain Harmanpreet Kaur (2/23) provided India only 75 runs to chase and script history.

Smriti Mandhana led the charge in the second innings and took her side to a big resounding win over Australia.
