CSK bowler Tushar Deshpande rubbishes 'Taking Rohit Sharma's wicket is easy' quote; Claims it as fake news

A quote in the name of CSK bowler Tushar Deshpande went viral on social media, saying "Taking Rohit Sharma's wicket is easy".

One of the disadvantages of Social Media is ‘Fake News’. Chennai Super Kings pacer Tushar Deshpande is the newest victim of fake news. He has shared an Instagram story to expose multiple accounts for posting a quote he never said. Multiple accounts have shared Tushar Deshpande’s wrongly attributed quote on Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma. Tushar Deshpande was part of Chennai Super Kings’s playing XI against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. Deshpande picked up Rohit Sharma’s wicket in the 4th over of the game. Deshpande rattled the furniture of MI Captain Rohit.

Tushar Deshpande becomes a victim of FAKE NEWS

Multiple accounts shared that Deshpande claimed Taking Rohit Sharma’s wicket is so easy, He is not someone like Virat Kohli or AB De Villiers. After getting to know about viral news, Deshpande took to Instagram to bust the fake news peddled by many accounts. In his Instagram story stamped FAKE sharing the screenshots of the accounts that claimed Deshpande’s quote against Indian Team captain Rohit Sharma.

He posted, “I have absolute respect for all the legends mentioned above. I did not, would not make any such demeaning statements. Stop spreading fake news.”  

CSK pacer Tushar Deshpande has been in a rough patch with his rhythm. In the initial games, He bowled multiple no-balls in the first and second games. Deshpande bowled in a good line and was in a good rhythm against Mumbai Indians. He picked up 2 big wickets against MI, One was captain Rohit and another was dangerous Tim David. He gave 31 runs in 4 overs to pick up 2 wickets.

Chennai Super Kings registered two back to back wins in the IPL 2023. CSK pace bowlers had a poor start in the season.
