Australia star Steve Smith smashed his 9th test century against India and overall 31st.

After Travis Head’s swashbuckling century on Wednesday night, Australia’s Steve Smith has become another centurion in the World Test Championship Final and Smudge has started his English campaign in style. Steve Smith has scored his 31st test century in test cricket. Steve Smith smashed two back-to-back boundaries against Mohammed Siraj to complete his hundred. Smith and Head have been batting brilliantly to put India under pressure. He has smashed 16 boundaries in his innings. This is Smith’s 7th test ton in England and has also sent warning signals to the English cricket team before the Ashes.

34-year-old Steve Smith has been a prolific run-scorer for the Australian cricket team. Twitter once celebrated Steve Smith’s ton calling him a G.O.A.T in test cricket batting. Social media users have praised Steve Smith’s grit and determination in the World Test Championship Final against India. Smith along with Travis Head has put Australia in a commanding position and they are now looking for a big score. Few fans have also remembered Steve Smith’s century against India in the World Cup 2015 and called him a nightmare for India in the big ICC Knockout games.

Travis Head and Steve Smith are going strong in their marathon partnership. They both added almost 300 runs for the 4th wicket. They both looked comfortable during their partnership. Smith and Head have rotated the strike nicely and also got the odd boundaries to put pressure on the bowlers. Travis Head has also completed his 150 in style. He is looking set for a big score. Australia's Middle order performance is a great sign for them in a long English summer.
