Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have delivered an outstanding performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. The Rajat Patidar & Co. have qualified for the playoffs and grab the top spot in the points table.
RCB will clash with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their last game of the league stage. A victory will confirm RCB’s top position in the points table. They have won nine and lost four games out of 13 so far and are the most successful team.
The defending champions registered a victory against Punjab Kings in their previous clash. However, they were without their captain Patidar in the encounter. In his absence, vice-captain Jitesh Sharma captained the side.
Notably, Patidar suffered a minor head injury and concussion in the prior clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He was hit on his helmet by a Kartik Tyagi’s bouncer. As a result, due to concussion rules, he missed the previous clash against PBKS as a precaution.
