Virat Kohli gets the crowd on its feet with his unique celebration

It's always a sight to watch and enjoy when Virat Kohli is all fired up. RCB in the field were all charged up and the intent was evident in their approach as they were on top of the LSG batters in the second innings. Kohli was all over the field tonight with two catches to his name - one of which was Krunal Pandya's catch which got the stadium buzzed. It happened when Maxwell came to bowl in the 4th over of the innings. Maxwell fired it outside off and Krunal Pandya just lofted it and Kohli completed a good catch running back. After the wicket, Kohli made a special gesture towards the crowd.

With the bat, Kohli's innings did not have the pace though he scored crucial runs in the context of the game. He scored 31 runs off 30 balls which included a boundary and a six each. RCB managed to put in a total of 126 runs only.

LSG suffered a big blow in the last delivery of the second over when skipper KL Rahul pulled his right thigh muscle while chasing a ball toward the extra cover boundary.

RCB seek revenge in the reverse fixture against LSG

A last-ball thriller at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium between these two teams heated up the rivalry. It was LSG who won the nail-biter and it was not RCB's turn to travel to their backyard. Batting first, RCB could rake only 126 runs. The opening duo of skipper Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli shared a 62-run partnership. The spin duo of Ravi Bishnoi (2/21) and veteran Amit Mishra (2/21) shone bright with the ball in the middle overs to keep a check on RCB's scoring rate.

With the ball in hand, RCB bowlers were spot on with no room for error. They strangled the LSG batters and put a firm hold on the runs. In the end, they won the game by 18 runs and managed to make it 1-1 in IPL 2023.
